There's No Place Like Home

I walked around the airport for a while and got a free "180 Energy Drink" from two hot chicks. They were there as part of a promo event. I thought it weird because the airlines give you alcoholic drinks to calm you on your flight and these girls were giving away stuff to make you wired and jittery. I finally got on the plane and was off. The flight to Boston was uneventful.

I arrived in Boston with about two and a half hours to kill. I wanted to smoke a butt, so I got a cup of coffee and went outside. I started talking to a lovely young woman that worked at the Delta Ticket Counter. She asked about my shirt and I told her about what I want to do. She wanted a button, so I sold her my "Paris" button and took her photo.

I heard my boarding call, got on the plane, and left. Our pilot was from Syracuse, and he was very friendly. The puddle jumper was up in no time and we arrived in Syracuse on time. Jamie's sister was supposed to pick me up, but didn't show.

I called Diane, my step-mother. She agreed to pick me up. I sat outside in the snow and smoked. Diane arrived about fifteen minutes later, and soon I was home. It was midnight, so, I showered and went to bed as I had to be at work at 8am.

It was good to be home.
